Tech Savvy Teens is excited to support Connected Nation’s 25 Hours. One Connected World, a global digital skills event taking place September 24–25.
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Connected Nation is attempting to set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the longest internet literacy live stream. The event will feature 25 consecutive hours of free, live digital skills training led by experts and available online to participants around the world.
A Learning Opportunity for Our Teens
For Tech Savvy Teens, this is also a great opportunity for our youth and Teen Mentors to learn.
Our teens spend hundreds of hours helping kūpuna navigate smartphones, computers, online safety, email, apps and other everyday technology. During the 25-hour event, teens can watch different trainers in action, discover new topics and pick up ideas they can bring back to their own Tech Savvy Teens workshops and one-on-one sessions.
No registration is required, and teams can join any sessions that interest them.
Host a Watch Party
Schools, libraries, youth groups and community organizations can also participate by hosting a free watch party. Gather your teens, watch one or several sessions together, and use what you learn to help others in your community build their digital skills.
25 Hours. One Connected World.
Digital skills are becoming essential for nearly every part of daily life. This event is an opportunity to learn, share knowledge and be part of a worldwide effort to make technology more accessible.
