Thank You, Spectrum
We're honored to receive the 2026 Spectrum Digital Education Grant. This support allows Tech Savvy Teens to expand youth tech mentorship across O'ahu and strengthen Hawaii's digital future.
In 2026–2027, we’ll directly support 2,000+ seniors and families through 150+ structured digital support sessions. We're expanding rural coverage to Waiʻanae, North Shore, and Central Oʻahu, where seniors will receive hands-on help with telehealth access, device setup, AI basics, scam safety, and navigating online benefits. Donated laptops will be provided to seniors lacking access when available. At least five additional teens will earn industry-recognized digital certifications.
Spectrum funding strengthens our long-term infrastructure by expanding regional leadership across Waiʻanae/Nānākuli, North Shore/Windward, Central Oʻahu, and East Honolulu. Each area is supported by a Lead Teen Mentor who manages volunteers, coordinates monthly service sites, and ensures consistent rural coverage. Funding allows us to add a Central Oʻahu lead, increase site partnerships, and implement a licensed impact-management system to track all beneficiaries, demographics, and service data—ensuring measurable, reportable outcomes and paving the way for expansion to neighbor islands.
This investment builds a sustainable youth workforce pipeline while establishing a trusted, community-based digital support network for seniors that can scale statewide.
To Spectrum, our volunteers, and our community—mahalo nui loa. We're just getting started.
